Howell & Livingston CountyEleven miles down Grand River from the Brighton shop. All makes and models, well-water experience, and a real diagnosis before a single part gets quoted.
The shop sits at 8160 W Grand River Ave in Brighton. Howell is about eleven miles west on the same road, or one exit further along I‑96. That matters for two reasons. It keeps Howell inside the standard service radius, so there is no distance surcharge on top of the service call. And it means the truck is already carrying the parts that fail most often instead of scheduling a second visit to bring them.
We cover the whole of the Howell area — downtown and the Thompson Lake neighborhoods, Oak Grove, Chilson, the Lake Chemung stretch between here and Brighton, and the rural properties out toward Cohoctah and Marion Township.
This is the single biggest difference between servicing a spa in Howell and servicing one in town, and it is the reason a Howell page exists at all rather than a generic one.
Much of Livingston County outside the city core is on private wells, and that water is typically hard and frequently carries iron. Fill a spa straight from an outside spigot and you are putting several hundred gallons of dissolved calcium and metal into a sealed system that then heats it. Two things follow, both predictable:
Neither problem is expensive to prevent and both are expensive to ignore. Fill through an inline hose pre-filter, test calcium hardness at every refill rather than only chlorine and pH, and use a sequestering agent on iron-heavy wells. We will tell you which of those your specific water actually needs when we are out — that conversation is part of the visit, not an upsell.
The pattern here skews a little differently than it does closer to Brighton. The three most common calls:
Tell us what the tub is doing and what the panel says. A good share of the time we can tell you over the phone whether it is something you can fix in ten minutes — a saturated filter, an airlock, a tripped high limit — and save you the service call entirely. If it needs a technician, the $185 service call covers the trip and the diagnosis, and you get the actual fault and the cost before anything is replaced. If a part has to be ordered, you know that on day one along with the timeline.
Try the symptom checker or the error code index first. Both are free and neither tries to book you.
Beyond repair, we handle scheduled maintenance and water care — which on well water is worth more than it is in town — and moving and removal if a tub is coming with you, going away, or just moving across the deck. Neighbouring Milford , South Lyon and Northville are covered too. Newer service pages cover Hartland and Pinckney as well.
Same $185 service call, same all-makes coverage, no distance surcharge inside the radius.
One call, one honest answer, and either a fix you can do yourself or a technician who already knows what he is walking into.
