Pinckney, Hamburg & the Chain of LakesWooded lots and long driveways mean outages, and outages in winter mean a clock. We handle the aftermath, and we will tell you how to avoid the next one.
Pinckney and Hamburg sit about twelve miles from our shop in Brighton, west and southwest along M-36. We cover the village of Pinckney, Putnam and Hamburg Townships, the Chain of Lakes shoreline, and the properties scattered through the recreation area between them. Service call is $185 and there is no distance surcharge.
This is the most wooded stretch of our service area, and wooded means outages. Most of the year an outage is an inconvenience. In January it starts a clock.
A hot tub keeps its temperature for a while after the power drops, but nothing inside it makes heat once the pumps stop, and a hard freeze works through cabinet insulation in hours. When the water in the plumbing freezes it expands, and something has to give: a union, a fitting, a heater manifold, or the wet end of a pump. That is a multi-part repair caused by a power cut nobody could have prevented.
Repairs are rarely an access problem — a technician and a parts bag get anywhere. Moving and removal is the opposite. A hot tub is a rigid object several feet across that has to travel from a deck, down a slope, past trees, to wherever a truck and trailer can legitimately sit. On a wooded lot with a long unpaved drive that route is most of the job, and it is the part worth describing honestly on the phone. We would rather quote a hard removal accurately than turn up and discover it.
Electrical work on a spa circuit is licensed work in Michigan and Dr. Spa does not do it. We diagnose everything on the spa side of the disconnect. If the fault is in the house wiring, the breaker or the panel — and after a rural outage it sometimes is — we tell you plainly and hand you exactly what to ask a licensed electrician for. A GFCI that keeps tripping gets reset once and then left alone.
Tell us what the tub is doing and what the panel says. A good share of the time we can tell you over the phone whether it is something you can fix in ten minutes and save you the service call entirely. If it needs a technician, the $185 covers the trip and the diagnosis, and you hear the actual fault and the cost before anything is replaced. If a part has to be ordered, you know that on day one along with the timeline.
Try the symptom checker or the error code index first. Both are free and neither tries to book you.
Beyond repair we handle scheduled maintenance and water care and moving and removal . On a wooded property that loses power a few times a year, a maintenance visit is partly an inspection: the fittings that split first are the ones nobody has looked at since the tub went in. We also cover neighbouring Howell and Whitmore Lake .
Same $185 service call, same all-makes coverage, no distance surcharge inside the radius.
One call, one honest answer, and either a fix you can do yourself or a technician who already knows what he is walking into.
