Hartland & Hartland TownshipTen minutes from the shop. All makes and models since 2001, an authorised service centre for Nordic and Marquis, and a real diagnosis before a single part gets quoted.
Hartland is about eight miles from our shop at 8160 W Grand River Ave in Brighton, which makes it one of the closest towns we serve. That matters more than it sounds. Distance is what makes people put off a service call until the tub has been cold for a month, and at eight miles there is no reason to put anything off. We cover Hartland Township, the Village of Hartland, the Dunham Road and Clyde Road corridors, and the stretch along M-59 toward Highland.
The service call is $185. That covers the trip and the diagnosis, and there is no distance surcharge anywhere inside the standard radius, let alone eight miles from the door.
Hartland has a lot of tubs that were bought fifteen or twenty years ago, and a fair number bought online or from a dealer who has since closed. The call we get sounds the same every time: nobody will touch it because of the badge on the cabinet.
That reasoning is mostly wrong. Underneath almost every brand, the parts that actually fail are common: heater elements, circulation and jet pumps, temperature and high-limit sensors, pressure and flow switches, topside control panels. Dr. Spa has worked on all makes and models since 2001 and keeps the majority of common parts on the truck. An orphaned brand is a sourcing question, not a dead end.
Electrical work on a spa circuit is licensed work in Michigan and Dr. Spa does not do it. We diagnose everything on the spa side of the disconnect. If the fault turns out to be in the house wiring, the breaker or the panel, we tell you plainly and hand you exactly what to ask a licensed electrician for. A GFCI that keeps tripping is a fault, not an inconvenience — reset it once, and if it goes again, stop resetting it and call.
Tell us what the tub is doing and what the panel says. A good share of the time we can tell you over the phone whether it is something you can fix in ten minutes and save you the service call entirely. If it needs a technician, the $185 covers the trip and the diagnosis, and you hear the actual fault and the cost before anything is replaced. If a part has to be ordered, you know that on day one along with the timeline.
Try the symptom checker or the error code index first. Both are free and neither tries to book you.
Beyond repair we handle scheduled maintenance and water care and moving and removal . Hartland is close enough that a maintenance visit is genuinely cheap to schedule, which is the difference between a tub that gets looked at once a year and one that gets a service call in January. We also cover neighbouring Howell and Milford .
Same $185 service call, same all-makes coverage, no distance surcharge inside the radius.
One call, one honest answer, and either a fix you can do yourself or a technician who already knows what he is walking into.
