Holly & the northern corridorThe northern edge of where we go. Rural Oakland and the Genesee line, where well water and winter power cuts decide most of what we get called out for.
Holly is about twenty miles north of our shop in Brighton, up where northern Oakland runs into the Genesee line. We cover the village, Holly, Rose and Groveland Townships, and across toward Fenton, which has its own page. It is near the edge of the standard radius and inside it, at the same $185 service call.
Almost everything up here is on a private well, and that water is generally hard and frequently iron-heavy. On a hot tub the consequence is specific and predictable: scale forms on the heater element, which insulates it, makes the element surface run far hotter than the water around it, and shortens its life substantially. It also stains the shell and clouds water that will not clear no matter what you add.
The prevention is genuinely cheap. Fill through a hose pre-filter and test calcium hardness at every refill. That single habit prevents a large share of the no-heat calls we take across the northern and western parts of the service area.
Rural northern Oakland loses power more often and for longer than the towns do, and in January that stops being an inconvenience.
Electrical work on a spa circuit is licensed work in Michigan and Dr. Spa does not do it. We diagnose everything on the spa side of the disconnect and hand you exactly what to ask a licensed electrician for when the fault turns out to be on the circuit. After a rural outage it genuinely sometimes is.
Tell us what the tub is doing and what the panel says. A good share of the time we can tell you over the phone whether it is something you can fix in ten minutes and save you the service call entirely. If it needs a technician, the $185 covers the trip and the diagnosis, and you hear the actual fault and the cost before anything is replaced. If a part has to be ordered, you know that on day one along with the timeline.
Try the symptom checker or the error code index first. Both are free and neither tries to book you.
Beyond repair we handle scheduled maintenance and water care and moving and removal . On a rural property that loses power a few times a winter, a maintenance visit doubles as an inspection of the fittings most likely to split. We also cover neighbouring Fenton and Hartland .
Same $185 service call, same all-makes coverage, no distance surcharge inside the radius.
One call, one honest answer, and either a fix you can do yourself or a technician who already knows what he is walking into.
