Novi is also retail country, which produces a specific and very common misunderstanding: that a hot tub has to be serviced by whoever sold it.

Where you bought it does not decide who can fix it

Dr. Spa is an independent service company. That has been the whole business since 2001, and it means the badge on your cabinet is not a gate.

• All makes and models. Roughly two dozen brands come through in a normal year, including ones sold by showrooms we have no relationship with at all.
• Authorised for Nordic and Marquis. If your tub is one of those, warranty service runs through an authorised centre and we are one.
• Dealer gone? Not a problem. Heaters, pumps, sensors, switches and topside panels are common parts underneath almost every brand.

Newer tubs, better diagnostics, same trap

The spas we see in Novi skew newer and better equipped than the service-area average, and modern control packs are genuinely good at telling you something is wrong. What they are not good at is telling you why.

A flow error is the clearest example. The same code can mean a clogged filter, an airlock after a refill, a pump that is turning but not moving water, or a pressure switch or flow sensor that has simply failed and is reporting nonsense to a perfectly healthy system. Electrical work on a spa circuit is licensed work in Michigan and Dr. Spa does not do it. We diagnose everything on the spa side of the disconnect and tell you clearly whether the fault sits in the tub or the circuit feeding it. When it is the circuit, you get exactly what to ask a licensed electrician for. Reset a tripping GFCI once and no more.
