Dr. Spa is an authorised service centre for Nordic. For an owner that matters in one specific way: warranty work runs through an authorised centre, so if your tub is still covered, this is the route that keeps it covered.

Out of warranty, nothing changes about how we work. Diagnosis comes before the quote, you hear the actual fault and the cost before anything is replaced, and the $185 service call covers the trip and the diagnosis.

Warranty, in plain terms

Warranty terms vary by model and by when and where the spa was bought, and they are stated per invoice rather than as a single published period. The useful thing to do is tell us the model and roughly when it was purchased. We will tell you what is likely to apply before any money is committed, rather than after.

What we see on Nordic tubs

• Heater elements and high limits. The most common fault on any brand. On well water, scale on the element is the usual underlying cause across this service area.
• Circulation and jet pumps. Seals, bearings and motors, generally on a predictable service life.
• Sensors and flow switches. Cheap parts that disable heating when they fail, which is the system working as intended. Codes explained in the error code index .
• Winter damage. Freeze-split fittings after an outage, which on rural properties in Livingston County is a regular February conversation.

Where we stop

Electrical work on a spa circuit is licensed work in Michigan and Dr. Spa does not do it. We diagnose everything on the spa side of the disconnect and tell you plainly whether the fault is in the tub or the circuit feeding it. When it is the circuit, you get exactly what to ask a licensed electrician for.

How the visit runs

Tell us the make, roughly how old it is, and what the panel is showing. A good share of the time we can tell you over the phone whether it is something you can fix yourself in ten minutes. If it needs a technician, the $185 service call covers the trip and the diagnosis, and you hear the actual fault and the cost before anything is replaced.
