Livonia & the Five Mile corridorPostwar Livonia, where a lot of spa circuits were added to panels never planned for them. A good share of what we get called for starts right there.
Livonia is about twenty-four miles east of our shop at 8160 W Grand River Ave in Brighton. That is toward the outer edge of the standard radius rather than the middle of it, and we would rather say so than pretend the drive does not exist. The service call is still $185 and there is still no distance surcharge. What it does mean is that a Livonia booking benefits more than most from a proper phone conversation first, so the right parts are on the truck the first time.
Livonia is largely postwar, and a spa is a demanding load to add to a service that was sized for a 1955 household. Most of the installs we see here were added decades after the house was built, and the quality of that addition varies enormously.
This is worth being blunt about. Dr. Spa diagnoses and repairs everything on the spa side of the disconnect. We do not touch the supply circuit, the panel or the breaker, because that is licensed electrical work in Michigan and it should be done by a licensed electrician. What you get from us is a definitive answer about which side the fault is on, so you are not paying two trades to point at each other. There is more detail on the breaker page .
Tell us what the tub is doing and what the panel says. A good share of the time we can tell you over the phone whether it is something you can fix in ten minutes and save you the service call entirely. If it needs a technician, the $185 covers the trip and the diagnosis, and you hear the actual fault and the cost before anything is replaced. If a part has to be ordered, you know that on day one along with the timeline.
Try the symptom checker or the error code index first. Both are free and neither tries to book you.
Beyond repair we handle scheduled maintenance and water care and moving and removal . On an older install, a scheduled visit is also an inspection of the bonding and the equipment bay, which is where the slow faults start. We also cover neighbouring Farmington Hills and Plymouth .
Same $185 service call, same all-makes coverage, no distance surcharge inside the radius.
One call, one honest answer, and either a fix you can do yourself or a technician who already knows what he is walking into.
